Referrals

The referral program allows you to invite friends and family to join LavishMade. When someone signs up using your referral link, you get credit for referring them. This helps grow the community while rewarding you for spreading the word.

Your Referral Code

Every LavishMade user has a unique referral code:

• Your referral code is automatically generated when you create your account
• It's a unique combination of letters and numbers
• Your code never changes - it's permanent
• You can find your code in your Referrals settings page

Your Referral Link

Your referral link is a URL that includes your referral code:

• Format: lavishmade.com/r/YOURCODE
• Anyone who clicks this link and signs up will be credited to you
• You can share this link anywhere - social media, email, text messages, etc.
• The link works even if the person doesn't sign up immediately

How Referrals Work

When someone uses your referral link:

1. They click your referral link
2. They're redirected to the signup page
3. They see a message that they're signing up through your referral
4. When they complete signup, the referral is tracked
5. You'll see the referral in your Referrals page

Referrals are tracked automatically - you don't need to do anything special.

Viewing Your Referrals

To see your referral statistics:

1. Go to Account Settings
2. Click "Referrals" in the navigation
3. You'll see your referral code, link, and referral count
4. View how many people have signed up using your link

Sharing Your Referral Link

You can share your referral link in many ways:

• Copy the link: Click "Copy Link" in your Referrals settings
• Share on social media: Post your link on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
• Send via email: Email the link to friends and family
• Text message: Send the link via SMS or messaging apps
• Include in content: Add your link to blog posts or posts
• Word of mouth: Tell people about LavishMade and share your link

Referral Tracking

How referrals are tracked:

• Referrals are tracked when someone signs up using your link
• The referral is associated with your account permanently
• You can see your total referral count in your Referrals page
• Each referral is counted once, even if someone uses your link multiple times
• Self-referrals are not counted (you can't refer yourself)

When Referrals Are Credited

A referral is credited when:

• Someone clicks your referral link
• They complete the signup process
• They verify their email address (if email verification is required)
• The referral is then permanently associated with your account

Referrals are tracked even if the person doesn't sign up immediately - the referral code is stored in their session.

Best Practices

• Share authentically: Only share with people who might actually be interested
• Explain what LavishMade is: Help people understand what they're signing up for
• Be respectful: Don't spam your referral link
• Use multiple channels: Share on different platforms to reach more people
• Follow up: Check in with people you've referred to see if they need help
• Track your progress: Monitor your referral count to see what's working
