What Isn't Spam

Not everything promotional is spam:

  • Legitimate Sharing: Sharing your own creative work or projects
  • Relevant Content: Content that's relevant to the community and adds value
  • Personal Updates: Sharing updates about your life or interests
  • Community Engagement: Participating in discussions and conversations

The key difference is whether content adds value to the community or is just trying to drive clicks or sales.

Preventing Spam

You can help prevent spam:

  • Report spam when you see it
  • Don't engage with spam content (likes, comments, clicks)
  • Block spam accounts
  • Be cautious with links from unknown users
