It's designed with a record store vibe, where users can discover, listen to, and support independent musicians. Whether you're an artist looking to share your work or a music lover exploring new sounds, Music offers a dedicated space for original music.

What is Music on LavishMade?

Music is a feature that allows artists (existing LavishMade members) to:

  • Share Original Tracks: Upload and share your original music with the community
  • Build Your Presence: Create a dedicated music profile to showcase your work
  • Connect with Listeners: Let others discover, favorite, and subscribe to your music
  • Control Visibility: Choose who can see and listen to your tracks (public, friends, or subscribers)

  • Track Cards: Beautiful record store-style cards that showcase your music with cover art
  • Audio Player: Full-featured player with waveform visualization, play/pause, restart, and rewind controls
  • Playlists: Auto-continue playlists that seamlessly play tracks one after another
  • Music Profile: Dedicated profile layout option to showcase all your tracks together
  • Genre & Mood Tags: Organize and categorize your music for easier discovery
  • Play Tracking: See how many times your tracks have been played

For Artists

As an artist, you can:

  • Upload Tracks: Share your original music directly from the Posts composer
  • Add Details: Include track title, genre, mood, and optional description
  • Showcase Your Work: Use the Music profile view to create a dedicated space for your tracks
  • Control Access: Set visibility to public, friends-only, or subscribers-only
  • Track Engagement: See play counts and favorite counts on your tracks

Important: Only upload music that you created or fully own the rights to. All tracks require you to confirm that the music is original before uploading.

For Listeners

As a listener, you can:

  • Discover Music: Browse all tracks on the global Music page
  • Follow Artists: Subscribe to artists to see their tracks in your feed
  • Favorite Tracks: Heart tracks you love to save them and support the artist
  • Play Playlists: Listen to continuous playlists that auto-advance to the next track
  • Explore Profiles: Visit artists' music profiles to see all their tracks

Record Store Vibe

Music on LavishMade is designed with a record store aesthetic in mind:

  • Visual Design: Vinyl-style circular cover art and record store-inspired layouts
  • Music-First: Tracks are prominently displayed with large play buttons and clear artist information
