    • Track Title: The name of your song (required)
    • Genre: Optional genre tag (e.g., "Indie Rock", "Electronic", "Jazz")
    • Mood: Optional mood tag (e.g., "Energetic", "Mellow", "Introspective")
  4. Check the "Original Music Confirmed" checkbox to confirm this is your original work
  5. Set your visibility preference (who can see and listen to this track)
  6. Click "Publish" to share your track

Required Fields

To publish a music track, you must provide:

  • Audio File: Your track audio (uploaded as an audio attachment)
  • Track Title: The name of your song
  • Original Music Confirmation: You must check the box confirming this is your original work

Important: The front-end will validate that all required fields are filled before allowing you to submit. If any required field is missing, you'll see a helpful message indicating what needs to be completed.

Optional Fields

While not required, these fields can help listeners discover your music:

  • Genre: Helps categorize your music (e.g., "Pop", "Hip-Hop", "Folk")
  • Mood: Describes the feeling of the track (e.g., "Upbeat", "Melancholic", "Dreamy")
  • Description: Any additional information about the track (uses the regular post content field)

Note: Genre and mood tags are automatically integrated with LavishMade's tagging system, making your tracks discoverable through tag browsing and filtering.

Cover Art

By default, your profile picture will be used as the cover art for your tracks. This creates a consistent visual identity across your music and makes it easy to identify your tracks at a glance.

Tracks use the same visual treatment as profile pictures, ensuring a cohesive look throughout the music section.

Music Mode Toggle

The Music Mode toggle is available in:

  • Desktop: The action bar at the top of the Posts composer
  • Mobile: The inline actions section and the mobile actions swipe-up modal

When Music Mode is active, the composer switches to track creation mode, showing track-specific fields while hiding or minimizing the regular post content editor.

Original Music Requirement

All music tracks must be original work that you created or fully own the rights to. Before publishing, you'll need to:

  • Check the "Original Music Confirmed" checkbox
  • Confirm that you own all rights to the music

Warning: Do not upload music you don't own or have explicit permission to share. Uploading copyrighted material without permission violates LavishMade's terms of service and may result in content removal or account action.

Visibility Settings

You can control who can see and listen to your tracks:

  • Public: Anyone can see and play your track
  • Friends Only: Only users who are friends with you can access the track
  • Paid Subscribers Only: Only users who have an active paid subscription to you can access the track

See our "Music Visibility Settings" guide for more details on controlling access to your tracks.
