How It Works

1

Capture the Current Page

When you click the extension icon, it automatically captures the URL of the page you're currently viewing.

2

Fetch Metadata

The extension automatically fetches metadata from the page, including title, author, description, and preview image.

3

Select or Create a Deep Dive

Choose from your existing Deep Dives or create a new one right from the extension.

4

Add Optional Notes

Add your own thoughts, context, or reminders about why you're saving this content.

5

Save to Your Collection

Click "Add to Deep Dive" and the item is instantly saved to your collection with all its metadata.

Features

  • Automatic metadata extraction: Title, author, images, and descriptions are automatically pulled from the page
  • Smart content detection: The extension recognizes articles, videos, podcasts, and more
  • Secure authentication: Your login credentials are stored securely in the browser
  • Quick access: Save content without leaving the page you're browsing
  • Create on the fly: Create new Deep Dives directly from the extension

Troubleshooting

Login fails

Make sure you're using the correct email and password. If you've forgotten your password, reset it on the main LavishMade website first.

Metadata not loading

Some websites may block metadata extraction. The extension will still save the URL, but you may need to manually add the title and description.

Extension not appearing

Make sure the extension is enabled in your browser's extensions page. You may need to pin it to your toolbar for easy access.

Token expired

If you see authentication errors, try logging out and logging back in. The extension will automatically refresh your token when possible.
