How to Change Your Font Theme
- Go to your profile settings (click your profile picture, then "Edit Profile")
- Scroll to the "Layout Customization" section
- Find the "Font Theme" dropdown
- Select the font theme that matches your style
- Click "Save Changes" in the Layout Customization section
- Your profile will update immediately with the new font
Note: Font themes are only available when you don't have custom CSS or a theme layout applied. If you've added custom CSS or selected a theme layout, those will override your font theme selection.
Font Theme Precedence
LavishMade uses a hierarchy for customization options to ensure your preferences are respected:
- Custom CSS (Highest Priority): If you've added custom CSS, it will override everything else, including font themes and theme layouts.
- Theme Layouts: If you've selected a theme layout from the community, it will override font themes but can be overridden by custom CSS.
- Font Themes (Lowest Priority): Simple font theme selection works when you don't have custom CSS or theme layouts applied.
This means you can start with a simple font theme, then move to a theme layout, and finally add custom CSS for complete control. Each level builds on the previous one.
Choosing the Right Font Theme
- Modern: Best for professional profiles, tech blogs, and contemporary content
- Classic: Perfect for writers, academics, and traditional content
- Vintage: Great for retro aesthetics, nostalgia, and throwback content
- Handwritten: Ideal for personal blogs, creative writing, and casual profiles
- Retro: Fun and playful, perfect for creative and artistic profiles
- Elegant: Sophisticated choice for literary content, poetry, and refined profiles
- Bold: Strong and impactful, great for brands and bold statements
- Minimal: Clean and simple, perfect for minimalist aesthetics
- Programmer: Tech-focused, great for developers and coding content
- Lady Bird: Elegant and literary, perfect for sophisticated writing
Font Theme Tips
- Font themes apply to all text on your profile, including headings and body text
- Some themes (like Retro) use different fonts for headings and body text for visual interest
- Font themes work seamlessly with background images and other customization options
- You can change your font theme at any time to experiment with different styles
- Font themes are automatically optimized for readability across devices
- If you want more control, consider moving to custom CSS or theme layouts
Tip: Start with a font theme to quickly personalize your profile's typography. If you want more customization later, you can always explore theme layouts or add custom CSS. Font themes are a great way to express your style without writing any code!
