Caught a free screening at OK Contemporary sponsored by deadCenter last week. Been wanting to see this since it released. It lives up to the hype! Grotesque, nihilist, uncompromising & epic. Every time it finds beauty, true beauty, Tippett is driven to temper it with horror. There's no escaping it. Only issue for me is that the plotting, bare as it is, can get confusing. I know it doesn't over-explain, but there are footholds I don't quite grasp. But it's an incredible one-of-a-kind work of art.
