Controversial Question for my friends ☞ Is it WEIRD for us adults to go trick-or-treating on Halloween? I have my opinion and I’ll share it later in a blog post, but I’m curious on your opinions and thoughts!

The “ber” months are here. I’m looking forward to cold weather, new adventures, & the holidays. I can’t believe it’s almost Halloween! This year has flown by so ridiculously fast. I’m setting up the next few months to focus on the following - Slow living - Making a point to wake up early - Having at least one get together or dinner with friends a week - Enjoying outside time - Remembering to have music playing at most points of the day - and lastly, focusing on the little things. #internalvoice ⫷ What makes me happy? what improves the space around me? what can I do for others to make them feel their best?, what things can I do in the present that would impact my future positively?, what do I have control over right now in the present? ⫸ Q: What are your goals through the “ber” months? #thebermonths #discussions #blog

My life project is learning to be present. I want to notice the small moments and feel grateful for them. I talk about being present all the time, then rush to always be present, which ironically causes me to focus on the future instead of being present. I'm learning that maybe being present means being here, even when it’s imperfect.
