Good morning, sweet friends of Lavish Made! It’s Tuesday. I’m up, drinking coffee, listening to Regina Spektor. It’s going to be a good day.

Waiting to go inside for my first education day…thought I’d share my FAVORITE movie ever. We’ve been without Wi-Fi for a week now…it feels great. We had to break into our DVD collection for the first time in forever. I found Penelope on DVD a few weeks ago when @Jeff Richardson and I went to Vintage Stock! Such a good find- and look at that price! I miss when DVDS were more present in every day life. Petition to go back to DVDS?!

It’s almost 7. I’ve been awake for an hour, sipping coffee, preparing myself for my first education day of becoming a teacher. Real question though… Should I wear my Nacho Libre cosplay or my Silent Hill Nurse costume for the first day? Wish me luck! ✂️✏️🖍️👩🏻‍🏫

Finished SLC Punk. I cried, I laughed, I fell in love, and then I cried some more. It’s beautiful. I resonate with it so deeply. Ugh. It’s hit the top 10 list for me.

Currently sitting here getting my hair done at the salon. I just cried real baby tears trying to find parking downtown with all the Thunder parade people. I have NEVER seen OKC this crowded in my 20 years of living here. Remind me to never book hair appointments during historical sport events. 🫠🥊
