Haunt Season (2024)

I’m probably just a sucker for these kinds of low-budget indie horror movies, but this one was a blast. At one point two characters argue about the haunted house.. one claims it’s supposed to be scary, the other says it’s supposed to be fun. That sums the whole film up.

The lighting is basically non-existent, but the sound design is strong and the camerawork never pulls you out of the story. It just proves that as long as you’ve got a story to tell, you’ve got a movie worth watching.
