Never heard of this until last week & decided to watch it on the spot (on YouTube even - the whole thing is just up there). Not my bag, but I can appreciate its place in cult thriller lore, even if it's mostly for the cheap kills (that are almost entirely offscreen). The acting is pretty great, and if you take a step back and see it for the mind game that it portrays, it takes on an elevated meaning beyond the typical slasher trope of survival. That I assumed it would have a Fight Club twist up to its final act is not a drawback, though it could have easily been fixed and quit that nagging thought. In a metaphoric way, I think that dynamic still has credence while also forgiving its many, many stupid moments.
