A lot of folks seemed to have an issue with the point of view changing throughout the picture as well as the long-winded ending, but I actually really liked these things?
I think following the killer through the whole thing would be a shallow gimmick, and when the camera first moves from him to some of the other characters, I took it as a transitionary element that worked because he was still in earshot offscreen. It also allows for the unsettling ending to do what it does, which just couldn't be possible if we only followed one character the whole time. It's the pseudo epilogue that finally breaks the film's predictable slasher plot points to offer something truly new that, while admittedly somewhat out of step with everything leading up to it, I found oddly satisfying in its underwhelmingness and refusal to tie every loose end.
If you've actually seen Mickey Reece's Agnes and, furthermore, actually liked it, you kinda know what I mean.
