Then I met Jeff and he not only is the man of my dreams and my forever partner but he loves stories as much as I do. He already had a production company he made with his cousins *Dead End Film House* and had made close to 30 short films. No money, no producers, no recognition on social media. Just because he wanted to tell stories. I thought, and still do think, he’s the coolest guy ever. I love watching him write, create and put all his effort in making these short films to share with people. He doesn’t ask for recognition but he deserves it. There’s so many stories that would never be told if it weren’t for him, his camera and his brilliant, fun mind. I confided in him that I had stories to tell too and of course his first reaction was ‘write them and we will make it’. So I did… now we are.
I’m so excited to be making this film with him, and our friends that we made along the way. It’s like the most fun group project that you could ever do. It’s not just one person it’s lots of people coming together and making magic! I can’t wait to share this story with everyone and give the credit to the people that worked hard behind the scenes and in front of the camera. Let’s keep making movies, telling stories and sharing for the sake of sharing.
Thank you, Jeff, for helping me make my voice louder and for telling me to take up MORE space.
