Insidious Mood Study: Haunted Houses
on @Jeff Richardson profile
This collection grew out of research I did while preparing for my role as Director of Photography on Absolution, a short film influenced by the eerie textures of Insidious. Below are some of the sources I read, listened to, and observed during prep, interviews, film references, and photographic work that capture the same sense of domestic dread and ghostly stillness.

I'm working on a 15-minute magic set for the first time in several years. It feels really nice to be doing magic again.

This is so rad. Its the first nomination I've gotten for work as a cinematographer. I co DP’d this one with @hornbeck. All the credit goes to him for making this possible. You're talented beyond imagination and I'm lucky I got to team up with you to make this film a reality.
