Thirty-one days are all we have, but thirty-one nights as well.
Each one brimming with memories and shadows of past October spells. Each one inspired like the orange-sliced smile upon the speckled flesh of a gourd, like the many leaves falling from sky to earth to join the enchanted hoard. And before long comes old Halloween telling tales we collect in our hair, and we smile wide in that candle-lit night by the pumpkin's burning hot stare. So, savor these moments, this magic that swells from beyond and from within. Tum the page, put on your mask and cape. October is ready to begin.
