If we're starting with niche, let's start it off with a banger. Synth fairy tutu music combined with a deep bass/guitar rhythm OH and! add a cool sad girl voice in there. I don't know what you're drinking, but this is definitely my cup of tea.

2008 was my favorite year for music. Why? Because creativity and being "weird" was the normal. We went through this manic pixie "tweemo" thing around 2008. Minipop perfectly displays the emotions of being weird but making something beautiful. "Like I Do" is another really great song of theirs...I can't pick my favorite. ugh! #minipop

Seriously, one of the most punk bands I've ever witnessed. They don't give a flying FUCK and are just in it for the music. As you should be.

Have you ever watched "Push"? It came out in 2009. ..so everything has this vague green tone to it. The soundtrack is BRILLIANT. One of my favs from it.

From Father/Daughter records we have Remember Sports. Female fronted vocals with a GREAT sound. Her voice reminds me of a LESSER THAN Marissa Paternoster, of the Screaming Females. Has some edge to it!
