The Earthling (Short Film)

I made this strange little movie a year ago purely for myself. I entered it into four sci-fi film festivals and it was rejected by all. It has received a mostly negative reception, but there are a few things about it I really enjoy. I really wanted to articulate my love of planet Earth, and how, despite all of humanity's glaring flaws, there's still hope for us.

            I enjoy several things about your filmmaking. One is your pacing. You bring us in and out of these sequences in such a smooth way. It's wonderful pacing. 

There is also this "hopeful optimism" i sense when watching your films. There were moments that pulled me out of it, but overall this was a nice watch and I enjoy the stories you tell.

One random side note... i was shocked by how much the conversation you had with your ship could be had now with chatGPT.... how close we are to the future.
