Greetings, one and all. It's officially Christmas so I'm sharing my latest short film with you.

Dances With Films called it: A very true to life relatable portrayal of a couple. The drone shot reflected in Tim's glasses then traveling up into the universe, intercut with the mundanity of everyday married life, was a really nice touch. This was an honest insight into married life with moments of poignancy, touching on the positives and negatives of reaching middle age.

            This entire thing all feels so specific that it stops feeling like a short film and more like someone’s actual brain trying to process being alive with other people.

it really does feel like you and ellen playing slightly bent versions of yourselves, and that makes your mom saying you’re a good team hit harder. i don’t have smart film words for it, just i’m glad this exists.

            I just finished watching this so i'm going to let it sit with me for a while before I give more thoughts, but this is my favorite film you've done I can say that with certainty. My favorite films are the ones that feel like a handmade gift. The films that show the stitching. This isn't a flaw, but a feature.  Thank you for this gift.

            Thanks for watching and responding, Jeff. Most appreciated. In the early rounds of views among friends and family the response was decidedly mixed-to-negative. Now that I'm sharing it with a larger pool of people it's getting a more positive response which is really nice to see.
