"Shades of watercolour-grey and black shrouded the lone girl trudging underneath the towering buildings. Darkness leaked from the windows lining the skyscrapers other than the few ambitious windows that feebly lit up their surroundings. Below the melancholy rooftops, the streets were lit up with neon of every colour. The rain that pattered from the sky mixed the colours drearily and the girl dug her hands into her pockets, ignoring the attractions. This is no destination for her, as she is merely passing through, headed in the direction of something more significant, more fulfilling. People with hurried Footsteps and careless laughter surrounded her, but she moved as a ghost among them, as colourless as the sky above."
