So you’ve had a little identity awakening and your current display name isn’t serving main-character energy anymore? Let’s fix that. Here’s how to give your Lavish Made persona a fresh coat of gold without breaking any links (or a sweat).

Float to Your Profile Settings
- Choose Edit Profile, and let the profile editor sweep in.
- You'll see a brand new Display Name & URL card waiting at the top of the page.

Savor the Name Refresh
- Type the new moniker that actually sounds like you. Keep it between 3 and 50 characters; letters, numbers and spaces are invited to the party.
- Profile link preview: Shows your current /u/ url so you can know how the outside world will find your revamped self.

Cooldown
- Name changes are meant to be special, so we give each edit a 24 hour breather.
- If you've already refreshed recently, the field and the button will gray out and tell you how long until the next glow up window opens.
